Happy Sunday for the first Sunday of the month of May! What new to me this week? Well I got a job but I didn’t take it ^^ but didn’t take it. I mention for my last post that I’m finding a new career. and I think it is not for me so I decline it right away. Anyway, I’m feelin’ more positivity this week.

PROLOGUE
Wow! Its been a while! I woke at 12pm today, my whole week was full of interviews and creativity kinds of stuff. The Quarantine period helps me to redirect me here tho ~

My addiction to reading poetries via Instagram. A quick story of my poetry addiction was when I read one of Lang Leav’s poetry. I got mesmerized how creatively it was written when in fact there are stories on those.

Listening
On a playlist of random songs, I started playing Ben & Ben Fall and a breeze of the aircon inside my room while writing.

Watching
Nothing. Last night, I watched Merida’s story on FB. I’m was always wondering who is she. I guess I’m going to review that movie here as well.

Thinking
there are many things id like to tackle rn. I’m going to outline those thoughts na lang para mas organize

1. When will this crisis end?
Sino bang hindi matatakot sa sitwasyon? Sino bang hindi magppanic? Pero out of this questions sa mind ko all I need to do as an individual is to remain calm kahit mahirap everyone is adjusting still.

2. Starting a new career
Hmm. my plan is still ongoing in spite of this crisis. In spite of this chaos we encountered buti na lang may companies na nagaaccept ng applicants.

3. Healing whatever needs to heal
The world is slowing down and it is also my time to rediscover myself.

A Story in every bite: Vanderlust Bistro + Patisserie

After a tiring day from work, I met with a college of mine to have a reunion to have some talk in life and getting to kamusta to each other. Treat yourself din pag may time! Since Quezon City has a lot of unusual restos I picked to eat in Vanderlust Bistro + Patisserie.

Their Cannoli is one of the best. Cannoli has 7 flavors. I choose again the best seller flavor and it’s Earl Gray. The taste is not that sweet nor bland. (Yung saktuhan lang pero masarap!)

The staff is a plus also. Very accommodating!

A quick trivia from the name of the resto. Vanderlust named after the couple Mark Anthony and Valerie. The concept began in 2013 during the honeymoon of the couple, they spent a month going from one European city to another, experiencing the rich and diverse culture. Their senses were captivated by the new and unique experiences, from the art and architecture to the music and lastly, the food! Armed with only the love for good food and for each other, the two started to pursue a dream of sharing their wonderful adventure with others who share the same fervor for adventure!

‘Vanderlust’ comes from their names mixed with ‘Wanderlust’: Val + Anthony + Wanderlust = Vanderlust.

It’s LIT! Youtube Creator Day Manila 2017

Hello, it’s been a while since my last post. I was extremely excited and kinda nervous about this event that I’m going to post. Okay uhmmm… I was invited by Youtube Philippines for Youtube Creator Day Manila last August 19, Saturday that was held at Relik Restaurant and Bar in BGC Commerce center.

I was nervous for some reason because my content was not really a vlogger type so I expected that all people that will attend are specifically a vlogger. As I got into the venue, they ask my name to register and gave me my name tag and a ballpen.  Since I am alone and don’t have any close “YouTuber” friend I suddenly became shy….. I feel shy when I don’t know anybody in general. Well, although I feel shy I start socializing and approach with the person beside me and he’s into techie and WHAT?! So I’m not the only creator that has different content.

Did I just say that I’m a creator? Oh yes, I didn’t expect that I could attend this kind of event also the fact that I could earn in this. I started first account when I was in 1st-year high school I guess? It was my first account “shairalim025” my channel got suspended or deleted by Youtube and I don’t know what’s the reason………limshaira (former shairalimlyrics) is currently stable and I’m still using it. I created limshaira in 2010. I just love making a video and put some lyrics on it. I consider that it was REALLY a hobby of mine while I was in my teenage years. I didn’t imagine this could go so far and to become part of the community and the event as well is just sooooooooooo AMAZING!!!

I’m the one who’s wearing glasses, a white top, a denim skort with a green backpack.

It was super duper fun and exciting event I got connect with some creators and inspired by the Youtube Ambassador. We did games and raffles. too. Overwhelmed feeling to see people with the same passion as you.
